Guild Rules
' Stargate-Glazer ' is a guild that has members that are young and
older. There is a mixture of likes, dislikes, sense of sense of humor, and outlooks on
life and in the game. The following rules are to be followed and have been
designed to allow us to keep respect amongst our family.
Rules of Conduct
These rules have been set forth to provide a fun guild to be in. Respecting
others within the guild is of utmost importance. If anyone breaks these rules,
a warning will be given. If the offense is repeated the member will be
terminated from the guild.
1. This is family based Guild. No profanity, arguing, racist slurs, nor will
Adult Themes be discussed in guild chat.
If there is an argument between two guild mates try to resolve it between
yourselves using tells even if you have to not communicate for 24 hours. If
the issue cannot be resolved between the two then take it to a class officer(s)
for them to arbitrate. Drama will not be tolerated.
2. Members must at all times conduct themselves in a professional manner;
respecting fellow guild mates, and obeys ALL Everquest game rules. Above
all be fair and honest with everyone.
3. No Kill Stealing (KS’ing). It’s against the rules and will not be tolerated.
If you are accused of KS’ing repeatedly you will be disbanded from the
guild, no exceptions.
4. Claim Jumping (moving in on known held campsites) will not be
tolerated.
5. Slumming (joining a group and not helping gain Exp., with the purpose
of sucking Exp.) will not be tolerated.
6. Theft of any kind will not be tolerated (overcharging for items, looting,
etc). This is grounds for immediate removal from the guild.
7. Do not try to recruit anyone with a guild tag. Responding to enquiries is
fine just don't initiate a conversation.
8. Do not disband from the guild unless you truly mean it. Then speak to
the guild leader or officer before you disband, if you do not then you may
not have a second chance to rejoin. Of course there may be incidents or
events out of our control; they will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
The Guild Leader decides all final decisions on this matter. If you leave the
guild on good terms, your alts may remain in the guild under the agreement
that you will not recruit from Shadows of the Grave members for the guild
you are going to. If you are asked to leave the guild, your alts will be
removed as well.
9. Do not beg for items/money from members or nonmembers. Go out and
be proud of what you worked so hard to gain. We all started with nothing,
and if you work for what you have, it means more. Also, no begging to be
power leveled at any time, if someone offers to help you that will be fine.
10. Do not be selfish with loot. If you can only find happiness in your own
loot and nobody else's, then this is not the guild for you. Always
congratulate your guild mates when they win a loot roll.
11. Do not hide your guild tag by using Anon use Role-play instead. Be
proud of who you are affiliated with.
12. Be respectful and courteous to your Class officer and your guild mates,
for they are here to assist you. Remember if they are out in the field
hunting, they want to gain experience as you do. If you need that transfer
done, a port, or a guild invite, wait for when they can assist you.
13. Always group with guild mates. If someone logs on and says does
anyone need # level class let them join you, if you have a spot open. Or
offer them to join in a spot when it clears. If there are no guild group spots
open, try to form a new guild group if there are sufficient numbers LFG.
14. Group Etiquette: If you know you’re not going to be on but just a few
minutes do not start groups then leave them hanging right after the first
kill. Be considerate of your family’s time and effort. If you have an hour, of
course, get a group together and have fun. If you die, don’t leave the group
because you felt it was a waste of time. Remember trying different
strategies will bring success in what you are trying to accomplish.
15. Do not intentionally cause someone to die.
16. It is recommended to be registered and participate on the website and
the message board. The web site is a way to work together as a family and
communication between us.
17. Shadows of the Grave’s primary goals are to have fun enjoying the
content of Everquest with friends. Have FUN!! And always remember this
is just a game.
18. All members can only have one main in the guild at any time if you
choice to change your main you can do so but only one time every three
months.
'The Stargate' is a tight-knit family-type guild based on the common goal of going through the content of Everquest as it was released and intended. Our binds to one another are through friendship, honor, and integrity. We are made up of all-level characters. Our casual play style will often not require everyone to attend events. However, certain meetings will be a high priority and will be announced within a reasonable time to allow our members to make arrangements to participate if they can.
The guild uses strategy, patience, and hard work to achieve victory over our targets. We often push our limits and strive for excellence as a team, working hand in hand to improve one another. We are NOT AND NEVER will allow ourselves to become a stepping stone for characters to move up into higher content raiding guilds, because our goal is to climb those mountains together as a cohesive group, to gain what the higher content raiding guilds have to offer with our own family.
Finally, it is important to know that "The Stargate" is more than just a guild for its members. It is an investment. Those who put forth the work will benefit from it. Our common goals and beliefs are what motivate us to push forward and our friendships strengthen day by day. This guild will not be for everyone, but those people who it is for will find more than just a game behind this guild they will find fulfillment and friendship.
Guild Bank Rules and Guidelines
1. Donations may be made to the guild bank. However, the bank will not be
used to store junk (I.E. ornaments, stuff you get from your daily tasks). If
you really feel like donating junk, it will be sold and the funds will be added
to the guild Treasure.
2. In order to borrow an item from the guild bank you must be a regular
member having completed the 30-day probation period.
3. All requests to borrow “View only items” must be posted and approved
by the guild leader or Senior Offers.
4. The guild bank is to help upgrade your Main characters or alt.
Before a guild bank item goes to an alt we need to make sure
that no main could use it.
5. As a member you may NOT sell items taken from the guild bank.
6. Please return items to the guild bank if possible when you are no longer
using said item.
7. The guild bank does not maintain any trade skill. If you need trade skill
ask and if we have any we can try to get some for you. It is expected you
give something in kind, try to replace or give some PP to compensate for it.
8. Items may not be borrowed that are more than 10 levels recommended
above your level.
